Motorist Gunther Hauser had been on his way through the countryside in Radkersburg, Austria, when he stumbled across the animal.
But after getting out to chase the beast off the road he soon found himself outsmarted – as it suddenly leaped into his car.
The creature refused to budge after entering the 45-year-old’s vehicle, instead sitting and chewing its way through the car’s seats.
When it refused to budge, Gunther walked off to a local farm to get help — but was chased off as a suspected burglar.
He finally called police, who rounded up local farmhands to remove the four-legged raider and take him back to his nearby enclosure.
Gunther said: “I had to take a picture of the goat because my insurance company would never have believed me.”
